Structure of the LCI Master Programme
The Leadership in the Creative Industries (LCI) master’s program consists of three foundation semesters and possibly an internship depending on the student’s academic history. Applicants with a 7-semester undergraduate or a graduate degree study 3 semesters, while candidates with a 6-semester Bachelor’s degree must complete an internship before the master project.
Necessary qualifications and skills are provided within the modules of the Leadership in the Creative Industries (LCI) master’s program. The learning outcomes of the first year are finely balanced between compulsory and elective studies. While the compulsory project module of the LCI program focuses on conceptualization, realization and management of innovative media concepts, and convergent media formats the elective courses (Electives) open an opportunity for a more in-depth experience of strategies and leadership competences which may lead towards possibilities of employment, research or self-employment.
The final semester is dedicated to the student’s master thesis.

Interdisciplinary and intermedial
Team-based projects are central within this master program. Knowledge is not frontally mediated, but is accumulated under the supervision of an interdisciplinary care team, specialized in the areas of film, game, interaction, sound and transmedia development (project based learning). Numerous lectures and workshops held by known media producers complement the project work.
Each semester the students perform intermedia and transmedia projects in mid sized or large teams (4-10 students). Students with different skills from their undergraduate studies work in these teams closely together to bring their knowledge, methods and experience to the project. They learn strategies of other media forms and develop intermedia skills.
Electives
