“It is our vision to help people to take in responsibility for a mindful lifestyle – and it is our mission to support people to reflect, refocus and build up their resilience.”
At first glance SKWISIE looks like a normal stress ball but is in fact an interactive stress ball that signals the raising stress level of the individual consumer in real time.

If the individual stress level raises the ball starts glowing in an aggressive red. The consumer has to take the ball and squeeze it until it starts glowing in a calming blue. The use of SKWISIE helps to build awareness for specific stress situations and provides our consumers a way to reduce their stress level.
The idea is to cooperate with the company Empatica. SKWISIE is developed as an add-on for the wristband E4. This wristband is a wearable to monitor physiological stress.

The use of SKWISIE to calm down the consumer in a stressful situation can be regarded as an effective short-term help. But in order t o change their current and stressful way of living to a healthier lifestyle our idea is to offer a stress diary in addition for long-term help.
This stress diary will be used digitally to analyse and thereby find the reasons why stress occurs individually.
