Lost in Innovation is an interactive Mockumentary, linking education and entertainment into a hybrid between film, game, live interaction, and other contemporary media formats, utilizing good humour and ideation madness as a
transmitter for information.
In order to achieve a comprehensible experience for both active and lean-back users, which also works online and offline, it is important to create an experience with individual touchpoints. By offering a versatile user journey, where users can join in at any point and without giving up on the full transmedia experience, everyone can choose their favourite way of perceiving the project .

The web-series, which is split into 5 episodes, each lasting 5-7 minutes, is the main link between the other fields of interest. The associated interactive parts pick up a scene from the plot and transfer them into environments that allow the employees to explore them themselves.
The events each relate to a specific method or technique Fred is using in the webseries. This enables a fluent movement between all areas and empowers the engagement of the viewer due to a high level of participation.
The interactive parts follow after each aired episode.
The users find themselves, in a 360° replica of a specific spot from the episode where they take role of the main character Fred and can discover the sceneries in detail and relive the moment. For this approach we use the VR cardboard technique by Google, which is affordable and can be used by anyone with a smartphone. In addition, installation such as replica of the toilet stall or a LEGO Serious Play Station invite the employees yet again to become active themselves and „play“ with the methods and content from the webseries.

The live events enable the employees to try out the ideation methods and innovation techniques presented in the webseries by our main protagonist.
On several occasions users can learn more about the disciplines in workshops, hack-a-thons, boot-camps and so on which also allow them to connect to other employees and network. Additionally, the events create a venue for the latest episode.
