Leadership in the Creative Industries
The semester topic of SS 17 was to conceptualize a Transmedia Game/web-serial for a (fictive) political campaign.
„Hear Me Out“ is an Alternate Reality Game with a fictional story.
It focuses on four main themes: family, power, money and truth. The goal is to entertain the user and place them in a political atmosphere through the project.

How?
By presenting the project from out main character’s perspective, Nem. He will be posting 17 second videos in real time over the course of 7 days on his personal Instagram page.
Through his videos and page, the audience will be able to interact with him to collect more information regarding the details
of the story by using multiple platforms such as Youtube, Wikipedia, Facebook, Soundcloud and several others, giving the audience both digital and physical participation in the project.
We divided the project into 3 phases; prequel, main event and sequel.

Why?
We chose this story because we believe the trust between politicians and the public is lost due to the fact that many politicians are corrupt and misuse their power for their own hidden agendas.
Through our interaction with the audience, we aim to teach them the importance of research. The truth is never spoon-fed, they need to go out and search for it. We also teach them that their votes are essential for change.
